Review: What can I say about the third book in the A Court of Thorns and Roses series other than this book broke me and put me back together numerous times especially that scene that other readers know I’m talking about which I won’t spoil for anyone who hasn’t read this series but are planning to in the distant future but all I still loved it for what it was Freye’s and Rhysand’s love and for their love of their family. Highly recommend this series for those who do read it one day. Now on to the novella A Court of Frost and Starlight my loves.

Review:
What can I say about the second book to The Mister ? Well it starts right where The Mister leaves off and we learn a little bit more about Kit’s death as well as adding to Alessia’s past and what they’re doing about it now since she escaped in the first book and their future. So now that I gave you a inkling into where we left off, I want to give you my honest opinion about the book. I thought it was engaging with a lot of what do I think is going to happen next as I flipped through the pages from beginning to end. It had swoon worthy moments and hot on the page love scenes and then their relationship in between gettting and after getting married but overall I liked it for what it was doing Which was keeping me entertained. And Rowena (Maxim’s mom) was an interesting character to say the least I’ll leave it at that. Highly recommend if you love drama and intriguing moments and a happily for now ending.

The Only One Left by Riley Sager (non spoiler review)

Date Started: June 27th 2023
Date Finished: July 7th 2023

Characters: Kit & Lenora

Rating: 5 🌟s

Synopsis:

At seventeen, Lenora Hope
Hung her sister with a rope

Now reduced to a schoolyard chant, the Hope family murders shocked the Maine coast one bloody night in 1929. While most people assume seventeen-year-old Lenora was responsible, the police were never able to prove it. Other than her denial after the killings, she has never spoken publicly about that night, nor has she set foot outside Hope’s End, the cliffside mansion where the massacre occurred.

Stabbed her father with a knife
Took her mother’s happy life

It’s now 1983, and home-health aide Kit McDeere arrives at a decaying Hope’s End to care for Lenora after her previous nurse fled in the middle of the night. In her seventies and confined to a wheelchair, Lenora was rendered mute by a series of strokes and can only communicate with Kit by tapping out sentences on an old typewriter. One night, Lenora uses it to make a tantalizing offer—I want to tell you everything.

“It wasn’t me,” Lenora said
But she’s the only one not dead

As Kit helps Lenora write about the events leading to the Hope family massacre, it becomes clear there’s more to the tale than people know. But when new details about her predecessor’s departure come to light, Kit starts to suspect Lenora might not be telling the complete truth—and that the seemingly harmless woman in her care could be far more dangerous than she first thought.

Review:
Riley Sager has gone and done it again with yet another novel. The only one left had me on the edge of my seat from page one and along the way, I managed to figure out a few things, but it still didn’t take me away from the story as I was predicting some of it though and that’s a good thing because there’s so many twists and turns that didn’t figure out along the way that made it very surprising to me when it was revealed. So if you’re looking for a book that makes you constantly think about who did it or if it was true or not or even if it was messing with your head then you should definitely give this book a try because this is one thriller that I will be thinking of for years to come. So pick it up if you’re intrigued by the storyline as much as I was just from reading the synopsis because you never know you might actually like it as much as I do. So with that I thank you for reading my review of this amazing thriller.

Review:

Well this is my first time reading Sarah J Maas and I got to say that A Court of Thorns and Roses was such a fun read and I cannot wait to read the next book which is called A Court of Mist and Fury… I know that this is a unpopular opinion most often than not, but Rhysand is truly my favorite so far even though he only appeared a few times… Tamlin and Feyre are okay main characters and the the side characters are good too, but not my favorite like I said Rhysand is… Anywho, I can’t wait to read the second book very soon.
